20x30 drawing draft

It is a 20x30 drawing. These are my drafts. I use Van Gogh's selfie style to draw a farmer.

Cloth

All these photos are the process of doing this drawing. First, I make a shape of the cloth and try to make it look complicated. And also I have other four clothes, but I pick this one, because I feel this one is more interesting. So I picked this one. And I start to draw a small sample on the paper. And when it fit, I draw a large one on the paper. I use the charcoal to draw the shape and "shadow". I also use many tool to draw it to make it better.

Selfie

In this picture,I like the background, it is wall with some ghosts. With the light, it looks like the wall is through the ghosts. And there are two kinds of  "Z" on the surface of the glasses. And "z" as a patten, there are many "z"s on the hair and I really like the emoji of the face. Actually, there is a very simple story. There is a beat of light shinning me from the bottom. And it is special light, it illuminate the wall and can there are some ghosts around you and thy protect me.

I feel that even there is only black and white about this background. It looks simple, but it is creative. And  black and white have a big contrast. And the the background matched the selfie. And it looks like the thunder.

Egg

In the drawing, the most special thing compared to other drawing is no lines. I feel it looks like real eggs. In this drawing, the black and white has a strong contrast.

I use charcoal to draw myself. In this drawing, there is only black and white. Most shadow part, I use black to show, also these shape show my face's structure. And about the background, it's half black and half white.

These two drawings, I use the lines to describe myself. Especially the face, I almost use the accuracy structure.

I feel this photo is very soft. It is accurate. In this photo, it doesn't have many dark places like other photos. It is creativity.

Henrik Drescher

I feel this picture is very creative. In this picture, there is man with a lot of eyes reading a book. In this picture, when the man is reading, it seems like there are many ideas or thoughts come out and there are many eyes see the book, the man even get some strange ideas.

I like this picture. It is totally different from other picture. Usually people draw the white, yellow, pink people. However, in this picture, Henrik Drescher uses green to draw this person. This person is very simple and wired. He has big eyes, long tones and long fingers. The long tones was cut. And in the background of the picture, there are many funny stuffs.

In this drawing, I use many tools, such as charcoal, gesso and white charcoal. Also in this drawing, not only have shadow and light part, but also there are many lines to describe the Form of the plant. I draw the closer part more darker than further part. The most special things I did than before is that I use white charcoal to describe the shape of this bottom of this vegetable.

HW BUTTERFLY

This picture is very creativity. In the photo, there is a couple kissing on the butterfly. the butterfly  is symmetry. so i think this photo is creative about its shape.

Another vice

This picture is still a vice, which is a totally different one, but I think this is harder than the first vice I drew. In this picture, I draw the whole vice with the curves to show make this vice have the effect of three dimensions. 

Shoes

This is my shoes. I use the charcoal to draw texture of the shoes. There are many curves to show different parts of the shoes.

Shell mass drawing

This object,which is a shell, seems like very simple. But in this picture, not only I use the charcoal, but also I use the easer. In this picture, I focus on the shell's texture, and makes this photo look different.

Banana mass drawing

This is a mass drawing. I use the charcoal to draw the most shadow and I use the paper tool to make the photo look more comfortable. This is a simple object, which are four bananas. The first banana is most closer to me and I draw most deep in this photo. The banana, which is most fat away from me, is most light.

Contour line drawing3

This is a contour line drawing.  The most hardest part is the leaf. I pay the most attention on drawing the leaf. I use the charcoal to draw this object.

Pinapple

This is s contour line drawing, which is a pineapple. In the pineapple, the most difficult part is the surface of the pineapple, because there are many similar shape on the surface. And also the leaf of the pineapple, I try to draw a feeling of sharp.

This is contour line drawing. In this photo, I use the charcoal to draw the edge of the filbert. 

This picture is not really a cylinder. This one is totally different from other four pictures. In this drawing, I use water combine with coal to draw, it kinda played and use finger to make the picture get more comfortable. It could be a crazy and interesting drawing.

This one is a common one, but I put it different the position. From my personal perspective, it looks a little different from other cylinder. Also the picture is a little bit mess, but it still looks good. 

This one is also a simple object, but compare to other objects, the most special aspect is that it seems like there is a big cylinder contain a small cylinder.

This one is a simple object. However,  I try to draw the letters on the picture, so I think it is new things and it is challenge. These letters make this object look not simple any more. Also I use the easer to make some part of the edge of this object light which makes this picture contrasts.

This photo, I try to make the curving place look more comfortable. Also I use the easer and draw some lines to make this object have 3-D effect.

Single Line Self

I use the camera in the Ipad to show the 3-D of the subject. And in the picture, I use the line and the shape to make the photo look like FORM.
About the placement on the page, because I just sit on the mat and lift up a leg on another leg. So I think the leg part can be the most important part in the photo, and from my position, I plan this photo.
The interesting part of my self line is that my head is small than the feet or the hand.

Airplane

This drawing is a paper airplane. In the picture. I focus on the shadow about the picture. Also it is clear to see the light and shadow about the paper airplane.
